Light at the End of the Tunnel

After Doug’s surprise Minnesota visit from wife, Jena, his Going the Distance for SMARTS journey trekked onward over the weekend. He’s now made it to Wisconsin through a series of tunnels, mysterious bike squeaks, and rain. Despite some of the scary or annoying travails, Doug continues to receive the kindness and interest from folks all along the way. Strangers who will never directly benefit from the arts education SMARTS brings to our community, have made donations. Their support shines a light on the importance of this fundraiser for all of us in the Mahoning Valley.

Go to our SMARTS website at  https://smarts.tunahelper.net/smarts/going-the-distance-for-smarts-donation/ to “Donate By The Mile.” $5 = each mile so please donate for 1, 5, 10, 20, or more miles. What a great way to thank Doug for all his efforts AND celebrate his 61st birthday!
