Dramatic Fairytales and Fables: Grades 3-6

Celebrate what makes you original as you dive into the world of fairytales and fables.  In this class, students will unlock their imaginations by discovering the morals and lessons in timeless stories and work as a team to reimagine them. Students will gain skills in narration, character-building, stage presence, and memorization. Students will also create costumes for their characters using felt and gain confidence in reading, writing, and acting for an audience!

Wednesdays: 4:10 – 5:10 pm

Prop and Costume Making: Grades 2-4

Want to see how props and costumes are made for actors and actresses in plays or movies?  Do you have an overactive imagination, love arts and crafts, and enjoy taking on projects?  This class is for you! Learn how to create an image for a character from start to finish, utilizing makeup, choosing clothing items, and creating props. Experiment with glue, cotton balls, flour, and gelatin for makeup effects and use household items to create accessories, even props that are edible!

Tuesdays: 4:15 – 5:15 pm
