SMARTS Food Musical Theater
Grades K-2
Whether it’s “Apples and Banay-nays,” or “Cheeseburger in Paradise,” we love food so much, we can’t help but sing about it! In this class, students will explore how our love of food can help us create stories, characters and songs. With songs like "On Top of Spaghetti" and "C is for Cookie," we'll embark on a journey of creative play that features dance, sing-a-longs, story time, and theater games. This class is designed to foster bravery, confidence and decision-making, all while having fun with our imaginations. You might even find out what the bacon said to the egg. Grab your favorite snack and let's hit the stage!

SMARTS Improv Acting 101
Grades 3-7
Bring your wild imagination to this acting class that relies on your clever ideas. Learn the skill of improvisation, the number one ingredient that brings all acting to life. Learn to think on your feet and be spontaneous. Practice being flexible and learn to adapt to others on stage in theater games and exercises. This class will not only prepare you to think and respond like an actor, but you’ll also become a better communicator and grow in self-awareness and empathy. And we can promise you’ll get a few laughs because the unexpected is bound to happen!
